Time Billionaire: Living Inside Two Worlds
===
[00:00:00] Speaker: If you're a woman running your own business right now and you have been paying attention to what's been happening around us, then you already know everything is changing, and there is no better time than now to start learning how to live your life. Look, AI is reshaping how service-based businesses operate.
[00:00:19] Speaker: Tasks that used to cost you thousands of dollars a month to outsource are now being handled in minutes. Roles that used to require a full team are being replaced by tools that cost less than, a gym membership. And what that means for you, if you're already running a business that works for the first time, maybe ever, more time and more money are
[00:00:39] Speaker: both coming.
[00:00:40] Speaker: That should be something that is celebrated. Then why are you holding your breath? Here's the problem. More time means nothing if you have forgotten how to use it. Maybe secretly you already knew that. More money means nothing if the only thing you know how to do with time is to put it back in your business.
[00:00:59] Speaker: I have watched incredibly successful women, women who have built real businesses, who have made real money, finally get the time they were working towards and have absolutely no idea what to do with it.
[00:01:10] Speaker: Because by the time the time arrived, they had forgotten who they were outside the business.
[00:01:16] Speaker: Look, you're watching this because you want to make sure this doesn't happen to you, or maybe you're already living in it. To make sure you walk away with what you need, I'll cover three critical items to help you get started on this journey. And at [00:01:30] the end, I will mention a place where you can truly master this skill alongside women doing the same thing.
[00:01:36] Speaker: Here is what you will understand by the end of this video. First, why is this happening and what is actually going on beneath the surface? Second, the framework I use and teach for building a life and a business at the same time, not one after the other, but side by side. And the third,
[00:01:52] Speaker: Three specific steps you can start with this week, not a business pivot. Three steps to start opening what I call the portal, and I'll explain exactly what that means in just a few minutes. But first, let's start with how this even happened in the first place Understanding how you got here is the first step in understanding how to find your way out.
[00:02:10] Speaker: Because without this, nothing else I say today lands the way it should. There is a story we have all been sold about what success looks like, and it is so embedded in the way we talk about building a business that most people never stop to question it. The story goes like this: work hard, sacrifice, stay focused, get the number, and then life opens up.
[00:02:32] Speaker: Then you get your time back. Then you get yourself back. Then you get to travel the world and you build relationships, and the versions of you that existed before the business, all that comes back once you finally get to the other side. Have you heard this? Maybe even feel it at your core. So you stay focused.
[00:02:48] Speaker: You give up the things you love because the payoff is coming, right? Does that story sound familiar? Don't be fooled by saying, "I still show up at events for my kids," or, "I'll still see my friends here and there." [00:03:00] That is a very easy way to justify to yourself that this isn't true. That justification is what keeps you in this trap.
[00:03:06] Speaker: And then one day when you get there, when you cross the line, when you hit that number... This is exactly how it happened for me. And you look around and you think, "Where is it? Where is the life I was building this for?" The business is here, the money is here, but the payoff, it's not. Here is what I have come to understand.
[00:03:26] Speaker: After 20 years as an entrepreneur, after building multiple businesses, After hitting numbers I genuinely believed were going to change my life, I learned the number will always just be the number. That means just because you hit a magical number that you said was going to change everything
[00:03:41] Speaker: doesn't mean it will change anything, because it doesn't. Because a number will always just be a number. That is all it can ever be.
[00:03:48] Speaker: A number can only be the result of your work. It is not a door, it is not a life. And the belief that hitting a certain revenue milestone will fundamentally shift how everything feels, I understand it. I held it for years. But it is one of the most expensive beliefs you can carry as a high-achieving woman because it keeps you waiting for something that was never going to deliver what you thought it would. I'm going to prove that to you with a story in just a minute, a story from my own career that I have never told quite like this before.
[00:04:19] Speaker: But first, I want to show you something that I think will make everything click. Listen to this story closely. A real conversation with a new friend, her win with [00:04:30] the kind of number that could have changed everything, and why she didn't even have time on her radar.
[00:04:36] Speaker: I talked recently to a new friend who sold her tech company for a significant amount of money, real money, like eight zeros kind of money. The kind of money that from the outside looks like the finish... And I asked her what she was going to do next. She asked, "Like, with the money?" I was surprised she asked that.
[00:04:54] Speaker: No, with the time. What was she gonna do with all that time, all that freedom? She had spent years building towards it. She told me she was already building another tech company. Time wasn't even on her radar. Now, there is nothing wrong with building. I love building. That is not the point. The point is when I asked her why.
[00:05:14] Speaker: Why not take time to enjoy your life? You have worked so hard to get here. When I asked her what that would look like, she didn't have an answer. I know I shouldn't have been shocked, but I think she saw it on my face because she had spent so long living inside the world of her business that she had completely lost the connection to anything outside.
[00:05:34] She did not know how to cross back over. She had never learned how. that is the actual diagnosis. It is not that successful people do not want a full life, it is that nobody ever taught them how to build one alongside the business. Nobody told them that you do not need to wait until the business is done because the business is never done. If you are a serial entrepreneur like me, you know this.
[00:05:57] Speaker: Instead, you must learn how to live [00:06:00] inside both worlds at the same time, and that is a skill, a learnable, buildable skill that must be practiced. In a minute, I'll take you through the starting framework that I teach. But first, let me share with you my story and how I had to learn this the hard way so you don't have to.
[00:06:15] Speaker: I'm not just reading this from some textbook somewhere. I know the diagnosis is true because I lived it. Years ago before I figured out how to build leverage in my business, I was the one drowning. I wanna tell you about the year everything was supposed to change for me. The year where my life was supposed to finally be the life I had been working towards, where everything I sacrificed was supposed to land.
[00:06:38] Speaker: Unfortunately, that is not what happened. I have been an entrepreneur for 20 years, I tried everything, and just really struggled to make anything work. About 11 years ago, I started one of the companies I still run today. The first two years I couldn't make money. I worked everything I could work, talked to everybody, ran every deal.
[00:06:58] Speaker: And by the end of year two, I was making $60,000 or $70,000. I remember sitting there thinking, "Mm, I could go back to corporate and make this without working nearly as hard." Then year three happened, something shifted and I honestly could not even tell you what changed. It just happened. I made over $550,000 that year take home, like to my personal bank account.
[00:07:21] Speaker: And here is the thing about that. I was not even fully aware of it while it was happening. I was so deep in the work that
[00:07:28] Speaker: I literally had to look [00:07:30] at the forms my bookkeeper sent to me at the end of the year to realize how much I actually made. This is how far inside the business I was. I was just working. The problem was not that it happened. The problem was what came after. I was expecting my family to celebrate. I was expecting this life-changing moment where the world saw me differently.
[00:07:49] Speaker: Where something shifted in how I felt walking through my own life. I thought that was finally going to be the moment. But what really happened, my family said, "That's great. Keep going." Nobody saw me differently. Nothing changed the way I thought it would. And then I realized I had not set aside enough for taxes the way I should have, and I owed three hundred thousand dollars to the government.
[00:08:11] Speaker: That was money I no longer had. Three years on a payment plan, climbing back out, while still trying to run and grow the business at the same time. The biggest financial year of my career became the year that set me back. But that is not the part of the story that I want you to hear. What happened next is the part that actually changed everything for me.
[00:08:33] Speaker: And it is the reason I built what I'm going to share with you at the end of this video. So that you have a place where you can truly master these skills, living in a life with time and building a business that funds it, alongside women doing the same thing. Because somewhere inside of my business, the building, the grinding, the surviving, I had quietly disappeared from my own life.
[00:08:56] Speaker: I stopped showing up, stopped reaching out, missed the birthdays, missed the [00:09:00] gatherings, missed all the ordinary things that makes a life feel like a life. And it was not until years later, when the business was finally running lean like working fifteen hours a week lean, that I looked up and I saw what had truly happened.
[00:09:14] Speaker: The real cost of the story we have all been sold about success looks like. The story of work hard, sacrifice, stay focused, get the number, and the version of you that existed before the business, all that comes back once you finally get to the other side. That magical number you have been working towards.
[00:09:31] Speaker: The life that was supposed to be waiting on the other side of all that work was not there anymore It was gone. I built the business, but not the life alongside of it. And that is the most important thing I can teach you today because you do not have to learn it the hard way. I already did that part.
[00:09:49] Speaker: Here is a framework that changed how I see everything. And once you see it, you will not be able to unsee it. So let me walk you through it because it changes the way you think about everything There are two worlds you are living inside of at all times. The problem is not that both exist. The problem is that most high-achieving women have been living almost entirely inside one of them, sometimes for years, without fully realizing it.
[00:10:13] Speaker: The first world I call the regime. The regime is your business world, your systems, your clients, your revenue, your operations, your strategy, everything that makes the business run. The regime is not the enemy. I want to be very clear about that. The regime [00:10:30] is real, and it matters, and it's going to need your attention, and it's gonna need your attention for as long as you are building something.
[00:10:37] Speaker: I'm not here to tell you to walk away from it or want less from it. The regime is part of your life, and it should be. next , And this is the one most high-achieving women have been cut off from for a long time without fully realizing the cost of it.
[00:10:50] Speaker: I call it the sanctum The sanctum is you, not the founder, not the CEO, not the version of you that shows up to close deals, lead, and serve the clients. You. The version of you that existed before the business became everything. The part of you that has desires and relationships and things you love that have nothing to do with revenue.
[00:11:10] Speaker: The part of you that wants to travel and stay somewhere for weeks and just live there. The part of you that wants to sit around a table with people you actually love and be fully present, not networking, not building, not strategy in the back of your head.
[00:11:23] Speaker: Just being there. Most high-achieving women have not been in their sanctum in a very long time, and it is not because you do not want to be. It's because nobody taught you the skill. Nobody taught you the skill of moving between both worlds on purpose. Nobody told you that you do not have to choose, that you can be fully in the regime when the business needs you, and fully in the sanctum when your life needs you.
[00:11:45] Speaker: And that the ability to move between them intentionally is something that can be learned, practiced, and built. That skill is what I call the portal. The portal is not a productivity system. It is not a morning routine or a boundary-setting framework [00:12:00] or anything you've heard before about work-life balance.
[00:12:03] Speaker: The portal is a practice of crossing between two worlds with intention, knowing when you are in the regime, recognizing when you need to step into the sanctum and actually making that move without guilt and without the business falling apart when you are gone. And the most important thing to understand about the portal, you do not wait for the number to start practicing it. You do not wait until the business is fully built or until you hit some milestone that finally gives you permission to live.
[00:12:33] Speaker: You learn to open the portal while the business is still growing. That is the time billionaire philosophy. Not doing less, not earning less, building in a way that lets you actively live while it is happening, not someday on the other side of a number that keeps moving every time you get close.
[00:12:48] Speaker: Because the longer you wait, the harder it gets. The more your identity wraps around the regime, The less you even recognize what the sanctum looks like anymore. That is exactly what happened to the woman who sold her company and started building another one.
[00:13:01] Speaker: She waited so long that by the time she had every reason to cross over, she'd forgotten how to find the door. Which brings me to the three steps. Because understanding the framework is one thing, and knowing exactly where to start is another. Because right now with AI cutting costs, with more time and more profits coming your way, this is the moment to learn how to find yours
[00:13:23] Speaker: Because the philosophy means nothing if you do not leave today with something you can actually do. Three steps to start opening the [00:13:30] portal, and before I give them to you, I want to be honest. These three steps are not the whole answer. They are the beginning of the answer, where you start, and I will explain why they matter at the end.
[00:13:41] Speaker: Step one is to audit the disappearance. Before you can open the portal, you have to see what you closed, and most women have not stopped long enough to actually look at this. So Here is what I want you to do. Write down everything you used to do that had nothing to do with the business.
[00:13:58] Speaker: Not goals, not habits you want to build, the actual things. Cooking with friends, dancing, horseback riding, traveling, the long dinners that went nowhere work-wise. Whatever it was for you specifically.
[00:14:11] Speaker: Most women have not thought about that list in years. And when you sit down to write it, you realize how long it actually is and how quietly every single thing on it has disappeared. That awareness, just seeing it clearly on paper is where everything starts. You cannot open a door you cannot find Step two is take one unscheduled hour this week. Not a vacation, not a life overhaul, one hour. And I want you to be specific about what this looks like because that is what makes it actually work. Go somewhere that has life in it, a coffee house, not your home office, not a drive-through, somewhere with actual people moving around, conversations happening, energy in the room.
[00:14:52] Speaker: Get your coffee, sit down, and do nothing. Like nothing. No phone, no laptop, no agenda, no list of things running through your [00:15:00] head. I know you do that too because I do. Just sit there. Watch people. Let your mind go wherever it wants to go, and when you are done, when you get back into your car and you're driving home, notice how you feel.
[00:15:11] Speaker: Not analyze it, just notice it, and then check back in with yourself later that day. How was your creativity? How open did your conversations feel? How alive did the day feel compared to a normal day? Because here's what happens. When you give your mind actual space, not scrolling, not consuming content, actual unstructured space, it starts doing things you forget it could do.
[00:15:34] Speaker: Ideas show up, clarity show up. The version of you that existed outside the regime starts to come back. It's a practice of being still, And you realize you have been running on empty in a way you never fully noticed because you never stopped long enough to feel the difference.
[00:15:49] Speaker: That one hour is your first step through the portal. It sounds small because it is small. That is exactly the point. Step three is to understand that this is a practice and commit to building it in that way because here is where most people lose it. You take an hour, it feels good, and then the week gets busy 'cause it always does, and then it does not happen the next week or the week after that, or three months go by and nothing has actually changed.
[00:16:14] Speaker: The portal opened for an hour and then closed right back up. Step three is deciding that this is not a one-time reset. It goes into the calendar before anything else goes in. Not when the business gives you space, not when the week slows down, because the [00:16:30] week never slows down. You put it in first. You protect it, and then you start asking yourself, " How does this get longer?
[00:16:38] Speaker: How does it get more intentional? How do I build more of my sanctum back into my actual life?" Not just one hour of random day. That progression from one hour to a morning, from a morning to a full day, from a day to a weekend, from a weekend to the kind of life where the regime and the sanctum are both fully alive at the same time, that is the journey.
[00:17:00] Speaker: That is what opening the portal all the way actually looks like.
[00:17:03] Speaker: Now, here's the honest part, because this is the most important thing before I let you go. These three steps are real. They work. If you do them, you will feel the difference. That I can promise you. But they are the beginning of something, not the whole thing. Think about it this way.
[00:17:19] Speaker: If someone gave you a video called Here Is How to Start Building Towards a Million-Dollar Business, and they walk you through the foundational steps, the first moves, the place to begin, you walk away with something valuable. But you would also know that what you just got was a starting point.
[00:17:38] Speaker: Getting to that business takes time. It takes practice. It takes being around people who are doing it, so you can see what it's like and keep going through the moments, even if you don't feel like it's working yet. Opening the portal is exactly the same. You can start with one hour in a coffee house this week.
[00:17:55] Speaker: That is real. But learning to keep the portal open longer and longer, [00:18:00] learning to move between the regime and the sanctum without guilt, without the business suffering, without losing yourself in either direction, that's a practice. It takes time. It takes being around other women who are doing it, so you can see what it actually looks like when someone is living inside both worlds at the same time
[00:18:17] Speaker: And the question that starts to come, not right away, but as it opens wider, is what does enough actually look like? Not in a quitting way, in a designing way. What does your life look like when the regime and the sanctum are both fully funded? What does it look like when your business has been built from the beginning to run without requiring everything you have?
[00:18:38] Speaker: What does it look like when AI is handling the expensive work, your costs are lower, your profits are higher, and you actually built a life that was waiting for you when the time came? That is the Time Billionaire life. That is the Time Billionaire philosophy. And that is what I have built inside the Time Billionaire Society.
[00:18:59] Speaker: If you are still here, you already know something most people around you don't know yet. You know that the number was never going to be the door. You know the regime and the sanctum both need to be alive at the same time. And you know the portal is a learnable skill, not a reward you earn when the business finally hits some magic milestone.
[00:19:18] Speaker: You are not behind. You are not somebody who just needs to be more disciplined or more present or more grateful. You are a founder who built something real and is now ready to build the [00:19:30] life alongside it. The Time Billionaire Society is a room for women exactly like you. Women who have built real businesses, who are done letting the business be the whole story, and who are learning to open the portal with intention while the business keeps growing.
[00:19:44] Speaker: This is not a course. It's not a framework someone hands you and sends you on your way. It's a community and a practice and a progression built for women who are already successful and ready for the next version of what that means. it is for women founders who want to identify as a Time Billionaire.
[00:20:01] Speaker: This is an application-based society, so no sales pitch. Just come and feel what it will be like inside the Time Billionaire Society. That is where everything starts. Come see what we are building. Bring every question you have, and if it feels like the room you've been looking for, the doors are open. And if you're not there yet, hit Subscribe.
[00:20:20] Speaker: Every week, I put out a new video for women who have built real businesses and are done waiting for the life they earned.
[00:20:26] Speaker: You have a business. Start living
