[00:00:00] Let me ask you something. Have you ever had that moment where you are sitting at your desk, staring at your screen and doing everything right and still wondering why isn't this working? You've posted the content, you've showed up, you've poured your heart into your messaging. You've done everything the experts told you to do, and yet.
It still feels like people aren't getting it. You know, your offer is powerful. You've helped people, you've got the proof, the results, the recipe. But the right clients, the ones who should be full body, yes, they're hesitating, they're asking for more time, they're ghosting your dms, and you are left wondering, what am I missing?
If that's ever crossed your mind, you are in the right place. Because what we're about to unpack may just be the reason your business isn't converting the way it should, and it has nothing to do with your strategy. It's not that you are doing anything wrong, it's that your message isn't speaking to the one thing that actually moves people to take action.
Their identity. [00:01:00] Here's the truth that most entrepreneurs miss, and you may be missing as well. People don't buy information. I know. It's like a bomb goes off, right? They don't buy coaching calls. They don't even buy results. If you can understand that, they buy the version on themselves. They want to become, they buy belonging.
They buy alignment, and they buy it from the person who helps them see it first before a single offer is made. That's what identity led messaging does. It shifts the conversation away from here's what I do and into, here's who you got to become when you step into my world. So in this episode, I'm going to walk you through exactly what identity led messaging is.
Why it works on a psychological level and how to start using it right now to attract high value, ready to buy clients who see you as the only person they want to work with. I'll share the personal story that made this click for me. Three major shifts I made in my own [00:02:00] business and how you can start embodying this in your content, your offer positioning, and your overall brand right now.
Because when your message reflects the identity your audience is already reaching for, everything changes. You stop chasing, you stop convincing, you stop trying to sound like everybody else. And when you start calling in people who feel like.
You are already inside their head. People who say, I don't even know why, but I just know this is the thing I've been looking for. That's when your messaging starts doing the heavy lifting for you. That's when you start selling less, but closing more, and that's when your business becomes the reflection of the woman you've already become.
If you're ready to make this shift, then let's dive into this absolutely amazing episode.

So let's break this down. What is identity led messaging? At its core, it's the shift from selling what you do to selling who your client gets to become. When they work with you, and I know that might sound like just another marketing angle, but it's not. It's the foundation of how human beings are actually making decisions.
You see, most entrepreneurs are selling from the outside in. They're talking about the process, the framework, the deliverables, the logistics. And while all of that has its place, it's not what actually drives someone to take action. [00:05:00] People don't buy templates or timelines, and believe it or not, they don't even buy results.
What they do buy almost every single time is a version of themselves. They want to step into the one who finally feels confident, the one who shows up like the expert, the one who isn't spinning her wheels or is stuck in her own head anymore. And that's what they want. They want the identity, the embodiment, the relief.
That comes from becoming someone new, someone they were always meant to be. That is powerful. According to Harvard Business School, a staggering 95% of purchasing decisions are made subconsciously. We talk about that a lot, and it's actually driven by emotion and identity, not logic. In other words, people don't buy the smart option that by the one that feels aligned with who they are becoming.
And if your messaging isn't speaking to that identity, it's going to fall flat. No matter how good your offer is, here's what you might be getting wrong. You might be [00:06:00] spending all your time marketing to where your client is now. The pain point, the problems, the struggles. And yes, that does build connection, but when you never elevate the conversation to show where your client is going, you forget to speak to the future self, the evolved version, the woman who already knows she's meant for more and is just waiting to see it reflected in someone else's words. When you stop at the problem, your audience stays stuck in it. Okay? And when people are stuck in a problem, they typically don't buy 'cause they can't see what life can be like if they fix the problem.
But when your messaging reflects who they're becoming, they start to lean in, they start to feel seen, they start to feel safe, and they say yes, not because you convinced them, but because you activated the version of them. That was already ready and the data backs that up. A study from the Journal of Consumer Research showed that people are significantly more likely to buy when an offer [00:07:00] reinforces their desired identity, not just when it solves a pain point.
and the Nelsons found that 92% of consumers trust recommendations from people who feel like them more than any other form of marketing.
So what does that tell us? It tells us your audience isn't just looking for a solution, they're looking for someone who makes them feel like. They belong. And when you start using identity led messaging, your audience no longer has to ask, is this a good offer? Instead, they start asking a far more powerful question, am I ready to become the version of me who says yes to this?
And that's when you've hit something deeper, that's when sales start to feel effortless, and that's when your business moves from convincing to calling in. And if you've been wondering why your content isn't converting, why your dream clients aren't showing up, why your messaging feels close, but not quite there, you might not have a strategy problem.
You might have a messaging problem. Up next I'm going to walk you through the [00:08:00] moment this clicked for me. I'll tell you exactly when I realized that my messaging, despite being polished and proven wasn't matching my own identity and how fixing that one piece completely changed the way I show up.
I speak and I sell. Because when your messaging reflects who your client wants to become. You stop selling, you start inviting, and that changes everything.
Let me share with you the moment it clicked and how I realized my messaging was holding me back. let me take you back to a moment I'll never forget. It wasn't dramatic.
No big breakdown. No massive identity crisis. Sorry, just a quiet. Honest realization. I'm gonna tell you sometimes though, those are the most impactful. It's me sitting at my desk, staring at my own sales page after weeks of refining, rewriting, and reviewing and feeling disconnected. It. It wasn't that the offer wasn't good, it was good.
It worked. I had client results, testimonial, the proof, but the words I was using to describe it, they felt [00:09:00] flat, empty. Like I was saying, all the right things, but none of it actually sounded like me. And more importantly, it didn't speak to the version of the woman I had become. I had grown my work had deepened the way I coached, the way I thought, the way I moved through business.
It had all evolved, but my messaging. It was still written for a past version of me, the version who played it safe, who listed out the features, who explained herself in bullet points, because she didn't fully trust her presence to speak about it. And in that moment, I realized something that hit me right in the gut.
I wasn't just underselling my offer. I was underselling myself. Maybe you felt that too. Maybe there's a part of your business that doesn't feel aligned anymore, but you can't quite figure out why. You've done the inner work. You've elevated your skills, you've shifted your energy, but your messaging, it's still rooted in who you used to be and.
When that happens, your audience can feel it. They might not know how to name [00:10:00] it, but something doesn't land. The words don't hit and they don't buy. Not because they didn't believe in your offer, but because they don't feel the evolution in your messaging. So I ask myself a question, I now ask every single one of my clients, if your dream clients read this right now, would she recognize herself in it?
Would she feel seen? Would she feel safe? Would she feel like this is for her? My answer when I did it was a big fat, no, that was the moment. Everything changed for me. I. I didn't need to burn it all down. 'cause I'm gonna tell you right now, there are so many times as entrepreneurs, I know you feel this too, you just wanna burn it all down and start all over.
But you don't have to do that. Okay? I didn't have to create something new. I needed to recalibrate the way I was positioning it. That is how simple it is. Not with more information, not with other funnel tricks, but with a clear expression of. Identity, hers and mine. That's how I [00:11:00] created the effortless recalibration because I realized I wasn't the only one.
I had a circle of high performing, deeply intuitive, purpose-driven women around me. Clients who had built real businesses, made real money. And created real impact. But even as they were growing their business still felt like they were stuck in a past version of who they used to be.
They didn't need more strategy. They needed space to evolve. They needed their voice. Their offer, their brand, all of it, to catch up to the woman they had become, and they didn't want to tear everything apart. They just wanted it to feel lighter, more aligned, more true. That's what we do inside of the effortless recalibration.
It's not about starting over. It's not about burning it all down. Trust me, it doesn't help. It's about. Taking what's already working and amplifying it. It's about letting go of what no longer fits. And it's about rebuilding your business, your presence, and the brand positioning so that it finally reflects the real you, the now you.
Because here's what happens. When your identity, your offering, your messaging, click into [00:12:00] alignment. You stop trying to prove yourself. You stop overexplaining your value because I'm gonna be a hundred percent serious. We all are doing that, right? 'cause we're not unique enough and we have to overexplain it all.
You stop chasing clients and start calling them with complete confidence. Your content. Starts speaking for you. Your brand becomes a mirror of your dream clients and the women you most want to serve, they show up already knowing you are the one that's the power identity led messaging.
But I want to be honest with you because this part really matters too. Even though I teach this, even though this is what I do day in and day out with clients, I still have to come back to it. There are still moments when I catch myself reading a launch email or revisiting a page and thinking. This doesn't sound like me anymore.
Not because it's wrong, but because I've grown and when I grow the woman I'm speaking to, guess what? They're growing too, and my message has to evolve to reflect that. That was the [00:13:00] moment I realized my messaging no longer matched. Who I had become. And that's okay because it's not a problem. It's a side of expansion.
Your message is meant to evolve. Your business is a living, breathing thing. Remember that, and you of course are a living thing. We are going to evolve. So if you've been feeling that offness,
if you're getting stuck in your content or questioning whether you're the right thing, I want you to hear me. You are not doing it wrong. You're not behind. You. Havet outgrown your business. You've just outgrow the version of your business that was built for who you used to be.
Now it's time to catch up to who you already are inside, effortless or recalibration. We pause long enough to realign everything, your voice, your offer, your positioning, your presence, so your business finally feels as elevated and body and effortless as you do because when your words reflect the identity your dream client is reaching.
You don't have to push. You don't have to chase. You don't have to convince you. Just invite and the right people will feel it. Coming up next, I'm gonna walk you [00:14:00] through the three biggest shifts I made to bring my messaging into full alignment and how you can use these exact same shifts to recalibrate your content, your offer, your energy starting today.
Let's keep going. Now that you know what identity led messaging really is and how that realization changed everything for me, let me walk you through the three biggest shifts I made that brought my messaging into full alignment, because I want you to be able to take what we're talking about and actually do something with it.
I want you to start hearing your own voice differently, seeing your own content differently. And beginning to recalibrate the way you speak and what you do, so your messaging finally matches well, the women you've already become. These are the exact shifts I now guide every effortless recalibration client through.
And they work not because they're trendy or clever, because they're fundamental and they're true. They're rooted in human behavior, real buying, psychology, and what makes content feel like home to the right client. All right, shift [00:15:00] number one. I stopped describing the offer and started describing the identity.
This was the first big change. I realized that my messaging was too focused on explaining what the offer included, and I'm gonna be very honest right here. Some of my content still does this, and I'm still in the process of refinance, so you might find it in some of my content too, but it's really important to make sure we're not explaining everything I was talking about, the number of calls, the deliverables, the access, the tools, the support.
But that's not what my audience needs to hear. They don't wake up thinking, I need six calls in a personalized content strategy. If you do, I think we need to have another conversation about that. They're actually waking up thinking. I'm tired of focusing on this. I'm tired of trying to sound like someone I'm not.
I just want this to feel aligned again. So I flip the focus. Instead of saying, here's what you get, I started saying, here's who you get to become. Not just, you'll gain clarity, but you'll become the woman whose voice lands the first time [00:16:00] without over explaining the woman whose content magnetizes high value clients who already see her as the one.
And here's what I want you to understand. This shift alone will start changing how people respond to your content. When your messaging starts reflecting their identity, not just their problems, they start seeing themselves inside your offer before you ever pitch it.

Okay? Shift number two. I spoke like I already knew her, and this one is so huge. This one might seem a little subtle, but powerful. I looked back at the way I was writing and it felt a little removed, polished, professional, like I was trying to sound smart instead of real. And here's what I realized. If I was trying to connect with the evolved version of my dream client, the one who was ready for aligned growth and effortless clarity, I needed to write like I was already in relationship with her, so I changed my tone. I started saying things like, you are not doing anything wrong.
You are just [00:20:00] outgrowing the version of your business that used to work. You are not stuck. Your messaging is just outta sync with the woman you've become. It shifted everything because when your messaging feels like someone's reading their inner thoughts out loud, well that's when they stop scrolling.
That's when they start nodding along with you. That's when they DM you and say, I don't even know what this is yet, but I know I need it. So if you've been sounding a little too much like a marketing brochure, soften it, ground it. Talk to her like she's already your client, because that's how she'll begin to see herself in your world.
Shift number three, I built the offer to reflect the identity I was selling. This was the final and maybe most important shift. It wasn't enough to change the words. I had to look at the entire offer experience and ask does this reflect the version of her that I'm speaking to? The name, the tone, the visual, the process, the way I welcome her in.
It all had to [00:21:00] match, and that's why I didn't call my offer Marketing reset or messaging strategy lab. It's called Effortless Recalibration because that's what she wanted. Not another grind, not another reinvention. She wanted a recalibration, something that honored what she's already built while elevating her into a more aligned version of herself.
So I ask you this, I. When someone lands on your page, does your offer reflect who they're becoming? Does it signal safety, confidence, belonging, or does it feel like it's still speaking to a past version of your audience or a past version of you? When you align the offer with the identity your messaging is calling in, everything becomes congruent, and your audience can feel that congruency, and that's what creates.
Effortless yeses. Okay, let me bring this all back to you. If you're listening to this thinking, this is exactly what I've been missing. If you know your work is powerful, but your content isn't pulling in the people you've meant to work with, if your [00:22:00] messaging feels close, but not quite there, I want you to hear this.
You're not far off, you're not broken. You're just evolving, and your business, your messaging needs to evolve with you because when your words finally match your identity and your client's next level identity, you stop hustling. You stop second guessing, and the right people, well, they just get it.
And that's the power of identity led messaging, and that's exactly what we do inside of the effortless recalibration.
Coming up next, I'm going to walk you through the biggest mistakes I see entrepreneurs make when they try to use identity led messaging, but end up missing the mark because once you understand how to avoid these, your messaging will finally start to work for you 24 7. All right, let's keep going. The four messaging mistakes that kills conversions and how to fix them fast.
Now that you understand the shifts I made and how powerful identity led messaging can be. I want to walk you through the mistakes I see most often when people try to use this approach, but end up missing the mark because I know [00:23:00] how this goes. You hear something in an episode like this and think,
Okay. I need to talk more about the transformation. So you tweak a few lines, you make it more emotional. Maybe you just change a headline or two. But nothing shifts. And that's not because it doesn't work, it's because you're unknowingly holding onto bad habits to pull your messaging out of alignment habits that keep your content in the realm of interesting instead of, I need this.
So let me walk you through the four biggest mistakes I see and how to fix them fast. Okay? Mistake number one. You're still describing the offer, not the identity. This one's sneaky because it sounds like you're doing the right thing. You're talking about confidence, clarity, income, growth. But here's the issue. You're still talking about outcomes like check boxes, not an expression of identity. When you say things like, you'll gain more confidence or you'll hit your next level income, you're describing results, but you're not painting the picture of who she becomes in the process.
So here's what's to do instead. Bring [00:24:00] it to life. Instead of saying you'll get clarity, you say you'll become the kind of woman who shows up and speaks with calm, rooted certainty because she knows she doesn't have to prove a thing. See the difference, that version, that identity, that embodiment, that's what sells.
So pause and ask yourself, what kind of woman does my work help her become? What shifts in her day-to-day energy, her decisions, her presence, I. When you lead with that. You create connection. Mistake number two, you're trying to sound professional instead of personal. This one I see all the time. You want to be taken seriously.
I get it. So do I. Right? You want to sound like you're an expert, so your content ends up sounding more like a TED Talk transcript than a conversation. And yes, I love a polished moment, so don't get me wrong, but here's what you have to understand. People don't buy. Because you're impressive. They buy because they feel understood.
Your ideal [00:25:00] client is not looking for someone who sounds like a textbook. She's looking for someone who makes her exhale and say finally someone gets it. So drop the jargon dish, the three step acronym. Talk like the woman who's sitting across the table from her holding space for her highest self. Say things like, you are not stuck. You've just evolved faster than your business has, or you are not doing it wrong. You've just outgrown the version of your brand that it used to fit, that lands that converts, that creates trust because when your voice reflects her internal dialogue, she feels like she belongs in the world before you've ever made an offer.
Mistake number three, your marketing to who she is now instead of who she's becoming. This one feels counterintuitive at first, but stay with me. Most marketing advice, say speak to the pain. Describe her struggles. Make sure she knows you get it. And I say this all the time too, right?
So you hear me talk about this too. And while that's [00:26:00] the truth. Using identity led messaging works a little bit differently. So when you wanna incorporate identity led messaging into your content, you kind of have to do both. But let's stay with me. I'll show you why you don't just meet her where she's at.
You walk her across the bridge into who she's ready to become. So yes, acknowledge the frustration, the burnout, the second guessing, but don't stay there. Paint the full picture. Say you've outgrown this version of your business. You're ready for alignment, simplicity.
Clients who already see your value before the sales call when you speak to both ends of the bridge. She starts to visualize herself on the other side. Does that make sense? And when she can see herself there, she starts to believe it's possible. And when she believes it's possible, she buys effortlessly.
Mistake number four, you're assuming she knows she belongs. She doesn't until you tell her This is the one that breaks my heart because I've seen so many brilliant women lose out on dream clients, not because their messaging wasn't good, but because their [00:27:00] audience didn't realize the messaging was for them.
Here's the thing, your dream client is probably scrolling past you right now, not because she doesn't believe in your work, but because she doesn't realize she's the one you're speaking to. She's thinking, I'm not quite there yet, or I'm probably not who she's looking for, or. I'm successful, but maybe I'm not ready for this level.
I'm gonna tell you guys, I just got introduced to somebody and they said, you have to work with this lady. She's amazing. She'll take you to the next level. And I went onto her landing page and I was reading through her content. And I took a pause because I said, this isn't for me.
Her landing page is speaking to someone small and just starting and struggling where I am, momentum, and I'm going and I'm at a different stage, right? I'm not the big people where they're making 10 to $20 million a year, but I'm not a newbie. And so when I read her page, I was like, it's not for me. So she has the ability to message her, and I message her and I had a conversation with her [00:28:00] and she was like, no, we help people like you all the time.
I was like, well, your messaging didn't speak to me. I couldn't see myself there. I didn't know that was for me. Right. So just make sure that when you do your messaging, that your real job as a messenger is to make sure she feels like she belongs before she even buys. So we have to say it very clearly.
This is for women who's already successful, but sometimes feels off. This is for the woman who wants growth, doesn't cost her peace. This is for the woman who's evolved and now her business needs to catch up. Speak to her, let her know she's already welcome here.
Because when you do that, she stops questioning. She stops shrinking. She starts listening, and she says, yes. If your content isn't converting, if the right clients aren't showing up, if your messaging feels almost there, but not quite landing, it's not because you're broken. It's because your message hasn't caught up with the version of you and the version of your [00:29:00] client You are meant to serve now.
So if you want your content to start doing the work for you, here's the focus. Describe who she becomes, not just what she gets. Write like you already know her because in some ways you do elevate her beyond her pain into the future. She's ready to live and make her feel like she belongs. Before she ever clicks on the link.
When you do that, your messaging becomes a mirror, and the women who are meant to work with you won't need to be convinced. They feel it in their body. They'll know it and they'll move.
As we recap this episode, I want you to take a breath and really let the sink in. You just walk through something Most business owners never take the time to do. You looked beyond your to-do list, beyond the next offer or launch and into the real reason. Your business might not feel as effortless or profitable as it should.
You didn't just learn a new messaging strategy. You learned how to see your business [00:30:00] differently. We talked about why selling outcomes isn't enough and why speaking to the identity your client is stepping into creates a whole new level of residence.
We walked through the three shifts I made when I stopped selling strategy and started showing. People who they get to become. And we covered the four messaging mistakes that silently kill conversions even when your content is good. But more than anything, we anchored it into this truth. It's stuck because you've outgrown the version of what you built. And now it's time to catch up to who you already are.
